An Expert Advisor (EA) is an automated trading program that runs on the MetaTrader platform. EAs execute trades based on pre-programmed algorithms without requiring manual intervention from the trader. They analyze market conditions, identify trading opportunities, and place orders automatically according to their built-in strategy.
Expert Advisors operate by continuously monitoring price data, technical indicators, and market conditions. When the programmed criteria are met, the EA automatically opens or closes trades.
