EASY Fortress — Free MT5 Equity Guard EA

A free MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that protects any account. Fortress never trades — it watches your equity and enforces the limits you set: daily loss caps, a hard drawdown stop-out, per-symbol exposure ceilings, a session profit lock and a consecutive-loss stop. Run it on top of any EA or your own manual trading.

What EASY Fortress protects

Daily loss limit

Stops trading and flattens open positions once the day's loss hits a percentage or money threshold, anchored to a broker-day or a custom offset. Prevents a single bad session from compounding.

InpFRT_DailyLossPct / InpFRT_DailyLossMoney

Max-drawdown stop-out

Hard equity floor. When drawdown from the initial balance or the running high-water mark exceeds your ceiling, Fortress closes everything and locks trading until you reset it.

InpFRT_MaxDDPct / InpFRT_MaxDDBaseInitial

Session profit lock

Once the day is up by your target, Fortress banks the win — it closes positions and blocks new entries so an afternoon reversal can't give back a green morning.

InpFRT_DailyProfitLockPct

Exposure caps

Ceilings on total lots, lots per symbol, single-order lot size and open-position count. Contains a runaway martingale or a mis-set lot on any EA sharing the account.

InpFRT_MaxTotalLots / InpFRT_MaxLotsPerSymbol / InpFRT_MaxSingleLot / InpFRT_MaxPositions

Trailing equity lock

Arms at a profit threshold, then trails a floor under peak equity so realised gains are protected as the account grows through the session.

InpFRT_TrailingEquityPct / InpFRT_TrailingArmPct

Consecutive-loss & Friday stop

Halts after a streak of losing trades (a classic sign a strategy is out of regime) and can flatten before the weekend gap at a chosen Friday hour.

InpFRT_MaxConsecLosses / InpFRT_FridayCloseHour

How to install EASY Fortress (about 15 minutes)

  1. Claim it free. Open the EASY Fortress marketplace page and claim your free licence (one account, 365 days). No payment details required.
  2. Install on MT5. Run the FxRobotEasy installer, or copy EasyFortress.ex5 into MQL5/Experts. Restart MetaTrader 5 so it appears in the Navigator.
  3. Attach to any chart. Drag Fortress onto a single chart. It monitors the whole account, so one instance guards every EA and every manual trade at once.
  4. Set your limits. Enable AutoTrading and set the guards you want — start with a daily loss limit and a max-drawdown stop. Leave the rest at 0 (disabled) until you need them.
  5. Verify it acts. Check the Experts log for the arming message. Breach events are also reported to your FxRobotEasy account timeline.

EASY Fortress FAQ

Is EASY Fortress really free?
Yes. Fortress is claimed free on the FxRobotEasy marketplace — one trading account, a 365-day licence, no payment details. It is a lead product: we would rather you protect your capital with our guard and get to know the platform than lose an account to an unguarded EA.
Does it place trades?
No. Fortress never opens positions. It is a protective overlay: it only ever closes positions and blocks new orders when one of your limits is breached. That is why it can run safely on top of any other EA or your own manual trading.
Will it work with any Expert Advisor?
Yes. Because it operates at the account level and only closes/blocks, it sits on top of any strategy — a scalper, a grid EA, a trend follower, or discretionary trading. One Fortress instance on one chart guards the entire account.
Is it good for prop-firm challenges?
It is built for exactly that. Daily loss limit and max-drawdown stop-out map directly onto the two rules that fail most challenge accounts. Set them a little tighter than the firm's hard limits and Fortress enforces them automatically.
Which platform does it need?
MetaTrader 5 only. A VPS is recommended so the guard runs 24/5 even when your computer is off — a protection EA is only useful while the terminal is running.
Does it guarantee I won't lose money?
No. Fortress enforces the exit rules you set; it cannot prevent gaps, slippage or a loss that occurs faster than a tick. It reduces the damage from runaway losses and rule breaches — it does not remove market risk. Trading carries risk of loss.
