Currency markets can move sharply due to interest-rate changes, economic data releases, geopolitical events, central-bank intervention, and shifts in liquidity. Even algorithmic strategies optimized on years of historical data can experience drawdowns that exceed historical worst cases.
Leveraged trading amplifies both gains and losses. A 1% adverse move with 100:1 leverage produces a 100% loss of the margin used. Always size positions so the maximum tolerable drawdown is acceptable.
Algorithmic trading depends on stable internet, broker server availability, MetaTrader runtime, VPS uptime, and the integrity of the expert advisor itself. Outages on any link can produce missed entries, missed exits, doubled positions on reconnect, or stuck orders.
Software bugs in any expert advisor — including ours — can produce unexpected behavior. We test extensively, but no software is bug-free. Always run new releases on a demo or small live account first.
Brokers vary widely in spread, slippage, execution speed, requote policy, and stop-out level. A strategy profitable on one broker can lose money on another. Always test live behavior on the broker you will use for production.
Not all brokers honor negative balance protection. With high leverage, a single fast-moving event can produce a balance below zero. Prefer regulated brokers with explicit negative balance protection and segregated client funds.

Yes. Forex and CFD trading involve substantial risk of loss, and a trading robot does not change the underlying market risk. You can lose up to your entire deposited capital, and in leveraged accounts you may owe more than you deposited if the broker does not enforce negative balance protection.
No. Even when a strategy has positive verified live trading results, future performance can differ due to market regime changes, broker spread variation, slippage, and execution latency. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Only risk capital you can afford to lose entirely. Most reputable financial regulators recommend that retail traders never put more than they could comfortably lose into speculative trading. We recommend starting with the smallest deposit your broker allows and a demo account before live trading.
