PropMaster AI
Prop-firm risk engine for MT5 — FTMO & FundedNext rules enforced in code
Our authored review of PropMaster AI — how the PropGuard rule engine enforces each firm's exact accounting, what the disciplined day-of-week engine actually trades, the disclosed simulation numbers behind the design, and an honest statement of what is (and is not yet) proven live.
PropMaster AI is a prop-firm risk engine first and a trading system second — a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor whose PropGuard layer enforces FTMO and FundedNext rules exactly (daily-loss anchors, drawdown modes, news windows, weekend policies) while a research-validated day-of-week engine trades six major pairs, with an optional overnight gold sleeve. On The5ers it runs as a risk monitor only, respecting their EA policy.
Why PropMaster exists
Most challenge failures are not strategy failures — they are rule failures. A day that loses 5.2% instead of 4.9%. A stop-loss that executes ninety seconds after a CPI print on a funded account. A floating loss carried through midnight at a firm that re-counts it against the fresh daily budget. The strategy could have been profitable over the quarter; the account died on an accounting technicality it never modelled.
PropMaster inverts the usual prop-bot priorities. The engineering budget went into PropGuard— a rule-enforcement layer that knows each firm’s exact accounting — and the trading engine is deliberately modest: a validated calendar effect passed through compliance filters, sized so that a normal losing streak never threatens a limit. You are paying for the guard rails, not for a crystal ball. Our prop-firm EA rankings explain why that priority order is what survives challenges.
Layer 1 — the PropGuard rule engine
Firm-exact daily anchors. FTMO measures your daily budget from the balance at midnight Prague time; FundedNext Stellar re-counts carried floating losses against every fresh daily limit; other firms anchor differently again. PropGuard tracks the right anchor, in the right timezone, tick by tick — see our plain-English guide to prop-firm risk rules.
Predictive worst-case sizing. Before every entry the bot asks: if every stop on the account fired at once (with a slippage margin), would the account still clear the daily budget? If not, the position is scaled down or skipped entirely.
The daily governor. When the day’s loss reaches a configurable share of the firm’s budget (default 85%), PropMaster closes its book and stops for the day. In validation this converted daily-limit breaches into flat days — the account survives to trade tomorrow.
News protection built for funded accounts.Where a firm counts even a stop-loss executing inside the ±2-minute news window as a violation, the only safe policy is to already be flat — so the guard goes flat on restricted symbols before the window opens, reading the calendar in the broker server’s native time.
Safety margin by design. All limits are enforced against 85% of the firm’s official allowance — their price feed is not our price feed, and the margin absorbs the difference.
Per-licence individuality.Deterministic entry-timing and sizing variation keeps your account’s trade pattern your own — a practical concern at firms that screen for copy-trading fingerprints.
Layer 2 — what the engine actually trades
No secret indicator stack: the engine trades a validated day-of-week effect on a hard whitelist of six majors (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, USDCAD) — long entries Monday, short entries Friday, one position per symbol per day, ATR-scaled stops tuned per firm profile, time-based exits. An optional overnight gold sleeve adds Monday–Thursday XAUUSD entries in a researched 21:05–21:35 UTC window (enabled only on FTMO profiles, where the overnight accounting is fully simulated). Roughly two to six entries per week in total: enough signal density to reach a profit target on a months-horizon, little enough that the guard always has room to work.

Prop-firm coverage
What PropMaster does at each supported firm — automation, enforcement, and the firm-specific accounting it implements.
Daily budget counted from initial balance; carried floating losses re-counted against each fresh daily limit; tighter 1×ATR stop geometry
The5ers
No — monitor mode only
Guard + alerts over your own trading
Their terms prohibit third-party closed-source EAs from auto-trading; PropMaster respects that and watches the rules instead
Custom
Yes
Configurable
For firms with accounting similar to the supported profiles — verify the firm's automation policy first
The numbers — simulated, and disclosed as such
PropMaster shipped on July 15, 2026, and its live forward test is running now. We publish live results as they accrue a meaningful sample — not before. What we can publish today, with its methodology, is the Monte-Carlo challenge simulation the design was frozen against: out-of-sample data, execution-cost haircut of 0.65 applied to the raw edge, $100k account, thousands of simulated challenge attempts per configuration.
Data as of July 19, 2026; method: Monte-Carlo challenge simulation over out-of-sample historical data with a 0.65 execution-cost haircut on the raw edge, $100k account size, thousands of attempts per configuration. Simulation is evidence of design intent, not a promise of live performance.; source: www.fxroboteasy.com/experts/propmaster-ai
Simulated challenge outcomes (design-validation, not live results)
Selected configurations from the frozen validation research. 'EV' is the expected value per attempt after the challenge fee at typical FTMO/FundedNext pricing.
The number to notice is the breach column: the governor’s job is to make a failed attempt cost time, never the account. Live forward results will be published on this page as the sample matures.
Risk profiles
Five presets ship with the product, each mapping to a firm program: Balanced (FTMO 2-Step, gold sleeve on), Active (FTMO 1-Step with EOD-trailing drawdown handling, reduced risk, gold sleeve on), Protected (FTMO Swing — no news/weekend restrictions to enforce, gold sleeve on), Precision (FundedNext Stellar, 1×ATR stops, stage-aware funded dial), and Conservative (The5ers, monitor-only).
Platform
MetaTrader 5, any MT5 broker or prop platform — no feed dependencies, no latency tricks
Style
Low-frequency day-of-week entries + optional overnight gold sleeve; single position per symbol per day
What it never does
No martingale, no grid, no averaging into losers, no hedging — firm-compliant by construction
Trade frequency
Roughly 2–6 entries per week depending on profile and sleeve settings
Horizon
Challenge passes measured in months; the design optimises survival and EV per attempt, not speed
Pros & cons — honestly
Pro: firm-exact rule enforcement (daily anchors, news windows, weekend policies) is the part of prop trading almost nobody engineers properly — and the most common reason accounts die.
Pro: disclosed simulation methodology instead of survivorship-biased pass certificates; zero simulated daily breaches across every recommended configuration.
Pro:The5ers monitor-mode shows the compliance posture is real — the product declines revenue rather than violate a firm’s terms.
Con: young live track — released July 2026; if your standard is a year of live verified history, that standard is correct and this page will earn it over time rather than fake it today.
Con: deliberately slow. If you want a pass attempt resolved inside two weeks, this is the wrong product — by design.
Con:the engine’s edge is a calendar effect, not a breakthrough; the value concentrates in the guard layer. Buyers looking for “secret AI alpha” should read the honest AI-in-trading explainer first.
PropMaster AI FAQ
If PropMaster has no secret alpha, what am I paying for?
Risk engineering. Most challenge failures are rule breaches, not bad strategies — a losing day that crosses the daily limit, a stop-loss that fires inside a news window, floating losses recounted overnight. PropMaster's PropGuard layer encodes each firm's exact accounting and physically prevents those breaches, while a modest validated engine supplies the trades.
The product inverts the usual prop-bot pitch. Instead of promising outsized returns (which is how accounts breach limits), it treats the firm's rulebook as the primary engineering problem: FTMO anchors your daily budget to the balance at midnight Prague time; FundedNext Stellar re-counts carried floating losses against each fresh daily limit; funded-phase news rules can void an account over a stop-loss that fires within two minutes of a release. Getting every one of those details right, per firm, tick by tick, is what you are buying.
Can PropMaster guarantee I pass a prop-firm challenge?
No — and no honest product can. In our disclosed Monte-Carlo validation the recommended profiles passed 52–64% of simulated FTMO attempts (up to ~82–84% with the gold sleeve enabled) with zero daily-limit breaches. That is a positive expected value on the challenge fee, not a certainty — and the median time to pass is measured in months.
Anyone promising a guaranteed pass in days is selling a coin flip with your challenge fee. PropMaster's design goal is different: never breach a limit (so a failed attempt costs time, not a blown account), keep per-attempt pass probability meaningfully above break-even on the fee, and survive to compound across attempts. The full simulation tables, assumptions and haircuts ship in the documentation.
Which prop firms does PropMaster AI support?
Full automated trading with PropGuard enforcement on FTMO (2-Step, 1-Step, Swing) and FundedNext Stellar, each with its firm-exact accounting. The5ers is monitor-only: their terms prohibit third-party closed-source EAs from auto-trading, so PropMaster runs there strictly as a risk monitor over your own trading.
The The5ers decision is deliberate: we respect firms' terms the same way we respect their limits — an EA that gets your account banned for ToS violations has failed at its one job. A configurable Custom profile covers firms with similar accounting to the supported ones; verify the firm's automation policy yourself before running any EA on a funded account.
How does PropMaster handle news-trading restrictions on funded accounts?
It goes flat on restricted symbols before the window opens, with a buffer for release-time drift. On FTMO funded Standard accounts even your own stop-loss or take-profit executing inside the ±2-minute window counts as a violation — so the only safe policy is to already be flat, and that is exactly what the news guard enforces.
The news module reads the calendar in the broker server's native time — no timezone conversion step to get wrong — and applies per-firm window rules. On profiles where the firm has no news restriction (e.g. FTMO Swing), the guard relaxes accordingly instead of costing you tradable windows.
How long does a challenge realistically take with PropMaster?
Months, not weeks. The engine trades a deliberately low-frequency calendar — roughly two entries per week on the day-of-week sleeve plus optional overnight gold entries — sized so a normal losing streak never approaches the daily limit. Fast passes require risk levels that also produce fast breaches.
This is the trade-off the whole product is built around. The simulation shows the governor converting would-be daily breaches into flat days: the account survives to trade the next day, and the profit target arrives on the calendar's schedule. If you want a shot at passing in a week, PropMaster is the wrong product — knowingly.
How is this different from other 'prop firm passing' EAs?
Three ways: it publishes simulated pass-rates with the full methodology instead of claiming live miracles; it enforces firm rules in code instead of hoping position sizing works out; and it deliberately trades less, not more, as the account approaches any limit — including a daily governor that flat-stops the day before a breach can happen.
Typical prop-EA marketing shows a passed-challenge certificate (survivorship: you don't see the failed accounts) and runs aggressive strategies that pass fast or breach fast. PropMaster's engineering budget went into the unglamorous parts: firm-exact daily anchors, worst-case exposure checks before every entry, per-licence trade-timing variation so your account's pattern stays your own, and a monitor mode that never trades but still watches the rules.
Where are the live verified results?
Accruing now. PropMaster shipped on July 15, 2026 and its live forward test is running; we publish live results as they build up a meaningful sample — not before. Until then the published evidence is the disclosed Monte-Carlo challenge simulation (out-of-sample, cost-haircut applied), clearly labelled as simulation.
This is the same verification standard as the rest of the EASY line, where flagship EAs run public live accounts. A four-day-old 'verified track record' would be statistical noise dressed as proof; a simulation with disclosed assumptions is honest evidence of design intent. Judge the product on both — the methodology today, the live account as it matures.
