Definition

A forex broker is the intermediary that gives a retail trader access to the FX market, provides the trading platform (typically MT4/MT5), handles deposits and withdrawals, and routes or internalises orders. Broker quality — regulation, execution model, capital protection — affects strategy results as much as the strategy itself.
