Getting Started

FxRobotEasy is a software company — not a broker, not a fund manager, and not a signal seller. You buy a license, install the Expert Advisor on your own MetaTrader 5 account, and the EA executes trades on your behalf according to its strategy.

The project originated as a research domain (forexroboteasy.com) in 2021 and has been in continuous public development on Telegram since 2025. The commercial line consists of four in-house Expert Advisors plus a reviewed catalog of 500+ third-party EAs. Every public live account on /live-trading reports balance, equity, drawdown, and trade history pulled directly from the broker.

Inside MetaTrader, an Expert Advisor is just a compiled `.ex5` (MT5) or `.ex4` (MT4) program attached to a chart. Once loaded, it receives every tick from the broker and runs its own decision logic — when to enter, what stop-loss and take-profit to set, when to exit, when to skip.

Because the logic lives in code, an EA never gets tired, frightened, or distracted. The trade-off: it can only do what it is programmed to do. A change in market regime that a discretionary trader would catch by feel may still be invisible to a static EA. That is why FxRobotEasy publishes live performance for every flagship EA — you can see how it actually behaved, not just how it backtested.

Operationally, an EA does not require manual intervention — the software handles entries, stop-losses, and exits. But three skills still apply to you as the account owner:

1. Position sizing — you decide how much risk per trade (typically 0.5–2% of equity). 2. Broker choice — spread, execution, and server location materially affect results. 3. When to pause — if equity falls below a level you have pre-defined, you should stop the EA and review.

Two numbers matter: license cost and minimum deposit. License cost is what you pay FxRobotEasy or the third-party author for software. Minimum deposit is the smallest broker account balance under which the EA can still respect its risk-per-trade rules without forcing oversized positions.

A $100 micro-account is technically possible — many EAs scale to 0.01 lots — but the spread and commission overhead is a much bigger share of P&L at that size, so realised returns lag the published statistics. Starting at the documented minimum (or higher) keeps the EA in its tested operating range.

Three broker properties move EA performance more than anything else:

1. Execution model — ECN/raw spread + commission for scalpers; STP for swing/trend. 2. Server location — closer to the broker matches MT4/MT5 server location reduces slippage. London (LD4) and New York (NY4) are common. 3. Spread on the EA's primary pair — even a 0.3-pip difference compounds over thousands of trades.

Statistical edge converges slowly. A scalping EA that closes 8–15 trades per day can hit a meaningful sample inside 2–4 weeks, but it is still subject to broker-execution quirks that only show up across different market regimes. A swing EA that takes 1–2 trades per week needs much longer — often 6–12 months — before performance estimates stabilise.

We publish live performance updated every minute so you can monitor your own EA against the reference account. If your live drawdown materially exceeds the published drawdown over a comparable sample, the difference usually comes from broker spread, leverage choice, or risk-per-trade configuration — not from the EA itself.

Three things help reduce the chance that a losing month becomes catastrophic:

1. **Risk per trade ≤ 1%** of equity. Many EAs default to 2% — that doubles the speed at which a bad streak compounds. 2. **Pre-defined stop level.** Decide in advance — e.g. "if equity drops 20%, I stop the EA and review". Write it down before going live. 3. **No re-deposit chase.** Adding capital to make back losses with a system you have not changed is the single most reliable way to compound the loss.

We do not recommend a single "best" EA — the right pick depends on how active you want to be, how much capital you can deploy, and which broker you trade with. Quick guide:

- **Beginners with modest capital** — Breakopedia or Trendopedia.
